In this class we will delve into representing clients, specifically around explaining the duties provided by an agent or transaction broker and how real estate professionals are compensated. We discuss the value associated with buyer and seller representation by looking at the tasks commonly performed by agents/transaction brokers. Lastly, students will learn techniques to facilitate compensation discussions with clients and practice having these discussions with each other.

I have been licensed for 19 years, am a REALTOR, and serve on the board of directors for my local Association's for-profit MLS organization, called REALTOR Services Corp or RSC. I am a Women's Council of REALTORS Pikes Peak Network past president and am the president for the Colorado state network. I am an educator at heart, and currently teach pre-licensing classes for Real Estate College of Colorado as well as GRI and other continuing education classes for Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS and title companies in El Paso County. I have worked with numerous real estate brokerage firms as their new agent mentor or developing new agent training programs. I took the best of those programs and created CleverAgent, which is the same 12-week program I put my own agents through!
